Another film I am posting because of the buzz surrounding it and because I found the full vid.
Get it while it’s hot. The full version of Alexandra Pelosi’s “Right America Feeling Wronged: Some Voices from the Campaign Trail” won’t be available for long on YouTube.

In her latest film, “Right America: Feeling Wronged,” which debuts on HBO, (Alexandra) Pelosi attends McCain and Sarah Palin rallies in 28 states and puts her microphone in the faces of some very passionate conservatives. As defeat looms, she watches the Republican base go through a very public grieving process, with most of the stages that psychiatrist Elisabeth Kübler-Ross described — denial, depression and a whole lot of anger — but not very much acceptance. [SALON]

I watched this yesterday, it’s really interesting.  The emotion attached to the outcome of the election is the most compelling, especially seeing it from this prespective.  During the campaign there was a lot of clips of people crying when it came to the Democrats canidate, but I really didn’t see clips of Republican sheding tears.  They are in fact crying for different reasons, one was a reflection of, dare I say, hope (how cliche, I know) and the other was from fear. But people at campaign rallies can be pretty hardcore, on either side.  I got a bumper sticker at an Obama rally that said, Don’t vote for McAnus cause he’ll keep fucking you in the ass, or something along those lines.
